NEIGHBORHOOD DECORATING

Thank you to everyone who helped with the Christmas decorating on Novermber 25th. I surely appreciate all of you, and many hands makes for a quick job. The place looks beautiful if I do say so myself. Also I would like for every home to bring a picture of your family to hang on the tree in the clubhouse. Nothing big, (2x3) preferably a black and white photo.

HISTORY OF LAKE KEOWEE

Little River Dam 1970

One of our new neighbors was asking about the history of Lake Keowee and I said I would send out info about a U-tube video that tells about the formation of Lake Keowee. It is called "History of Lake Keowee in South Carolina." In addition, I would like to recommend to our new families Ron Rash's book, One Foot in Eden. It is a fictional story about the families that were impacted by the flooding of their farms/homesites when the lake was created. Judy Benson
